Aerial Lineman
Track Utilities is currently hiring Aerial Lineman. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

o Perform Aerial Communication Lineman tasks for both new and existing applications.

o Provide 247 emergency response support.

o Work with clients to plan installations as required.

o Install and repair lines in a variety of environments.

o Climb up to 50 ft.

o Experienced in Bucket Truck Operation.

o Experienced in the following tasks: New Cable Installs, Pole Transfers, Strand Building, Cable Hanging, Lashing, Over Lashing, Wreck Out, Make Readies, and Figure Eighting.

o Perform daily duties in a safe manner.

o Maintain a professional working attitude with co-workers and customers at all times.

o Further industry knowledge on an ongoing basis.

o Uphold quality workmanship surpassing industry standards.


o Able to read prints and other engineering documentation.

o Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

o Good verbal and written communication skills.

o Fiber Optic and Copper Cable industry construction, maintenance and testing experience.

o Mechanically inclined and detail oriented.

o Must have valid Driver's License and the ability to obtain a DOT physical certification.

o CDL Class A certification a plus.


o Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

o Must have own climbing equipment.

o Must be willing to travel up to 4 weeks at a time and able to work within non-structured schedule i.e. long hours, weekends, 247 emergency coverage, etc.

o Self-motivated and able to learn quickly.

o Team oriented and has exemplary character.

o Able to mentor less experienced team members as appropriate.

o Safety focused.
