Job Description

VOLT's client is looking for a Project Coordinator- Construction

This is a long-term Contingent/Temporary position in Spokane, WA and offered through Volt Technical Resources. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support many of the top rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.

Assists, coordinates, and facilitates planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering and construction projects within area of assigned responsibility.

+ Supports the Project Manager in development of project charter, scope, objectives, budget, and business case

+ Assists coordination of activities or efforts of the project team

+ Helps facilitate the development of detailed work plans including but not limited to schedule, cost, resources, contingency and communication plans

+ Maintain project documentation controls systems; identify, analyze, and communicate project performance issues in regard to scope, quality, cost, and schedule

+ Coordinate the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables

+ Communicate project status on assigned activities to the project manager

+ Facilitate project contract administration

+ Support tracking of project deliverables and coordinate project closeout activities

+ Coordinates invoice coding and pay application process upon approval of the project manager.

# Desired technical skills and core competencies:

+ Exemplifies great communication skills and leadership qualities

+ Proficient in processing and managing all project records for construction and engineering

+ Experienced in contract management and compliance

+ Experienced in project setup, startup and commissioning, closeout and archiving

+ Proficient in managing project document controls, including but not limited to Submittals, RFIs, and As-builts

+ Ability to run productive and concise meetings

+ Ability to utilize project scheduling software to monitor and manage project schedules, such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6

+ Proficient in Office 365, Word, Excel, Visio, and Aconex (preferred)
